As soon as I turned 18, I downloaded Tinder for the first time, and it changed my life. When I made my account with my friends, I thought nothing of it, which is funny because I surprisingly found some of my friends on Tinder as well, no names but, after that day, I matched with a 22-year-old woman and was chatting it up with her, this was near Valentine’s Day, so I asked. “Hey, what are you doing tomorrow for Valentine’s Day?”. She never responded after that, until after a week, she responded to me, saying how she was busy and asked if I wanted to hang out. I sincerely deleted Tinder after that one interaction.
2 months later, and my friends told me they were “spinning a baddie.” I was confused at first, but they then told me they were using an app called Wizz. As soon as I downloaded Wizz, it asked me for my age and date of birth. It then uses an AI face scanner to “identify” your age. It does this so you can use your photos to prove you are a real person.
I personally like Wizz better because when you get a profile, you can add music and text to any picture. Your profile then shows what you are looking for in a partner and what you like to do. Wizz shows people if a person wants anything serious or is just looking for friends. While using Wizz for the first time, your profile becomes the top match for around 5 minutes, and you get a lot of people sliding up on your account. I’ve had many encounters with the baddies and even got some of their socials.
Though nothing serious went on, from time to time, I look at my Wizz profile to see if anyone slid up on my profile. It’s kind of weird because you can get secret admirers, or people who view your account more than twice, someone even looked at my account 10 times secretly. Though if they just slid up on my profile, I would have probably responded because their profile looked good. Using Wizz and Tinder is kind of fun, but I don’t really suggest it. People on the app are always lying about their age, and I can’t really trust that while using the app.
I recommend just talking to someone in real life first, and asking for their Instagram, and you can then hit it off from there. Rather than hitting someone up on Wizz or Tinder, and they could be a bajillion miles away, or too near you. It’s also just more comfortable for me to talk to a person first in real life and then develop feelings for them later on in the relationship that we build. Hopefully, you can find great or bad things about dating apps on here and use them to your own discretion, or just download them for fun and see where it takes you.
