Over the past month, Apple Inc. has begun phasing in a new technology aimed at improving user experience. Although Big Tech has always had access to users’ personal data, including physical location, private digital interactions, sensitive health information, and financial and political data, this groundbreaking innovation will further accelerate efficiency and profit for the tech overlords.

By picking up EEG waves emitted by the brain, your iPhone now has an algorithm literally tailored to your every thought. The software works by detecting electrical signals emitted by the brain over long distances. Ad personalization is designed to serve you exactly what you need, exactly when you need it!
Revisions being made without a new Terms of Use contract and in active concealment from members of the press have ruffled the feathers of one or two members of ultra-extremist groups. They claim that such personal data as thoughts being accessed without permission or transparency is a breach of consent, going against the Fourth Amendment that guarantees citizens the right to privacy.
Despite these claims, officials say they aren’t concerned about the lack of transparency with users. These companies have the utmost concern for your individual safety and well-being. This new update has been implemented for the sole goal of improving user satisfaction.
Officials quelled any concerns with a statement released last Friday
“It’s pretty much the same as what we were doing before, just with fewer steps. Besides, all users accepted the terms and conditions when they created an account under Apple, which lets us do whatever we want and it’s still technically legal,” stated the current CEO of Apple, Tim Cook, in an official press release.
Cook says AI models are currently being trained and tested to work in a two-way transfer of information, able to redirect undesirable thought patterns or behaviors in consumers.
“When you really think about it, mass surveillance is great! It’s amazing how technology can uplift and empower everyday people. It’s definitely a win-win situation. We get even richer, while the customers no longer have to carry the burden of thinking all the time.”
