Laurel Straka, Graphic Designer
Laurel Straka is a senior at Arcata High School, and this is his first year on staff at the Pepperbox. As the graphic designer, Laurel is looking forward to incorporating his artistic skills into the world of journalism. He is also excited to write stories on bigger issues and have the opportunity to dive deeper into stories. Laurel has always been a passionate writer, which was fueled by his parent’s emphasis on the importance of reading books from a young age. Other interests of Laurel’s include music, backpacking, and art.
