Movies are a great way to connect, but so is snacking. What is a better way to connect than watching a movie you enjoy, with your favorite snacks, while with your favorite people? So many different kinds of snacks that can bring people joy and remind them of happy memories as well.

Especially with us growing up, there is always that comfort movie, and you eat with that specific snack that brings you so much comfort. For me, I prefer watching movies at home, snuggled in bed.
Which a lot of people could agree with me, because being in the comfort of your home. Watching a movie, which also brings peace, is the way to go about it. Anytime I need a break, I always get popcorn, lie in my bed, and turn on the movie Matilda.
Any old movie at home brings back certain memories that we never want to forget. When going to the theater, you can create those certain memories that you never want to forget. With different kinds of movies and snacks.
I sent out a survey asking the people of Arcata High what the best movie snack is. The best at-home snack that was voted was popcorn with many different toppings coming in first place, then candy, including Skittles, MnMs/ peanuts MnMs, and then red vines.
With popcorn as the best snack to eat at the theaters and at home, but with only the right amount of butter and salt.
The best theater snack that was voted was popcorn, coming in first place, then ICEEs, Mike n Ikes, junior mints, red vines, and Skittles, tying for second place.
When I would be snuggled in my bed watching Matilda with my bowl of popcorn, I would always think about the last scene when Matilda and Ms. Honey get their good ending of them finally getting their happy family that they really wanted.
When life gets too hard with family or with school, there is always a certain place or certain people who are there to welcome you with open arms. You’re never alone; there is always someone willing to be there for you and listen.
