Taking my yellow Lab, Louie, to the marsh on the weekends is one of my favorite things to do. We like to gaze at the glistening water and watch the ducks dive into the lake. We often cross paths with other people and their dogs on the loop.
One time, this woman and her border collie approached us. Our dogs immediately sniffed each other. We started talking about our dogs, their favorite places, funny things about their personalities, and our favorite memories. Connecting with other pet owners is an amazing experience. This interaction inspired me to do the same with my classmates.
