Jake Paul is one of the biggest attractions in boxing, whether people across the world like it or not. He is a very popular YouTuber-turned-boxer, but a lot of people think he is a joke. Paul is hated across the world because his fights are often against retired and older boxers like Mike Tyson.
Some people believe Paul rigged or faked some of his fights because there is no way Paul should be able to beat these people in boxing.
The fight between Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua will take place on December 19. Joshua is a 36-year-old heavyweight boxer who, less than five years ago, was a multiple-time heavyweight champion. This will be Paul’s toughest fight yet.
Senior River Mattole said he believes that Joshua is going to knock Jake Paul out in the very first round. Mattole states that Jake Paul is a very solid boxer, but he should not be fighting championship contenders and former champions, such as Joshua. Mattole said Paul is not a great boxer because he does not fight worthy opponents; he only fights people who weren’t professional boxers or are very old, retired boxers.
A very commonly asked question when it comes to Jake Paul is, “Are his fights rigged?” Mattole said he does think one of his former fights was rigged.
“The atmosphere in the fight between Paul and Andre August was just odd, and then all sudden, Paul knocked him out in the first round,” he said. People were confused because August is a current professional boxer, and the fans did not expect him to get knocked out that easily.
One of Paul’s most popular fights was against one of the greatest boxers of all time, Mike Tyson. Mattole thinks Paul was a “coward” for fighting Tyson because he was 58 years old. Many believe there was nothing impressive about Paul’s victory because this fight earned Paul no respect as a boxer. Mattole also said that Paul does not deserve to fight contenders because he has not proved himself.
Most people believe that Paul does not deserve to fight these big names.
Some believe he is a cheater, but we will see what happens to him in his next fight.
