Myla Conley, Social Media Director
Myla Conley is a 17-year-old senior here at Arcata High School. She is interested in pursuing a career in marketing and social media after high school, so this position in the Pepperbox is a really good experience for her. Myla is the varsity cheer captain here at AHS, as well as the senior class secretary. This is her first year in journalism, but she’s really excited to see what comes from this year. Myla loves being around her friends, and she loves being in the sun more than anything. As it’s her last year here at AHS, she’s really excited to be a part of the school’s newspaper, and to see what opportunities come from it.
Lillian Ledford, Reporter
Lily Ledford is a senior and a first-year reporter for the Pepperbox. She has worked with her school newspaper at every school that she has attended, dating back to the fourth grade when she collaborated with her friends to start their own newspaper. She loves to write about the lighthearted and fun topics that engage people her age, as well as more serious conflicts. In her free time, she loves all things funky fashion - hair dye, eccentric dress, and circus makeup. She has a passion for cooking and restaurant work and most nights can be found behind the counter at Subway, usually complaining but with a smile on her face.
