Difference Between America and Other Countries

“In Italy, we have just one class and the same classmates, we don’t change classes. We have been in the same class for four years. We have twelve subjects,”

People often compare themselves with others. For example, many people compare their grades with others’ grades after a big test. Then, how about countries? Have you compared your country with other countries?

Education is the nearest to our lives. That is because all people should experience it. That is why I Interviewed students.

“In Italy, we have just one class and the same classmates, we don’t change classes. We have been in the same class for four years. We have twelve subjects,” senior grade exchange student Alessia said. “In Armenia, teachers are coming to our classes. I have my classmates and my classroom. We don’t choose our subjects, we only choose the branch that we want to study,” senior grade exchange student Margarita said.

According to them, the differences in the education system are the homeroom class and subjects that we study. In America, we can select subjects and we do not have homeroom classes. On the other hand, students cannot choose all subjects that they study and have their homeroom classes in Armenia and Italy. That is an interesting difference. Education must affect students. Students need to have things that they want to do. If they choose classes without their goals, their school life will be hard, and what they have studied will be useless. However, if they select subjects that they want to study, they will be able to grow up very well. In addition, you do not have to have a hard time studying the subjects that they are not good at because they can avoid it except for required subjects. On the other hand, it has a weak point. It is that the difference between the subject they are good at and the subject they are bad at will get great. If they are not good at math but are good at English, they will not take math classes or will take easy math classes, and take hard English classes. However, if their classes are decided by their school, they do not always have to have any purpose. That also has good and bad points. First of all, the good point is that they can study all fields and get opportunities to find what subject they are good at. However, the bad point is that they must catch up on subjects that they are bad at. It will take a lot of time they could use for what they are interested in for them to catch up on them.

By the way, we must be involved with our lifestyles. Our lifestyles must be different among countries because each country has different land, climate, personalities, and so on.

“I think the only lifestyle change sleeping early than I was used to,” Margarita said. “In America, we almost spend much time at school, but in Italy, we go to Ct, as a center,” senior grade exchange student Alessia said.

We also live different types of lives. The differences seem to show the countries themselves. In addition, we have different lifestyles not only between America and other countries but also among countries. We can see what has attached importance to lifestyles. For example, if people spend almost all of a day at their school, that shows the country in which they live attaches importance to education or school life. That is why we know the important things in the countries from lifestyles.

One of the elements that make the differences must be the personalities in each country. Then, how about the differences between America and other countries?

“I like when people smile at you even though you meet them for the first time. People in Armenia are also welcoming and kind,” senior grade exchange student Margarita said. “Almost the same,” senior grade exchange student Alessia said.

From these, we can understand that there are not always differences among countries. However, the difference between personalities can be seen even in greetings. You will have to care about greeting people when you go to foreign countries. Each country’s personality was shown in the greeting. So if you go to foreign countries and do not know about their way of greeting, your attitude will seem to be rude to people there. In addition, there is a case where some countries have the same personalities. That is also interesting. Even if they are far from each other, we have a case where they have something in common. It is also interesting that we think about something in common which made their personalities common.

Finally, there are some differences between America and other countries. For example, education, lifestyle, or personality. However, they also have something in common. We can learn interesting things about other countries from them.
