On Friday, April 18th, Arcata High’s Interact Club will be hosting its annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser. The dinner will take place in the school’s Fine Arts Building with tickets selling for $12 each, or $40 for a family of four.
All proceeds will go to Sandy in Honduras, a non-profit organization that provides medical care to children in Honduras. In previous years, funds have gone towards larger projects, such as RAGAS (the Rotary Action Group Against Slavery). This year, the funds will be directed towards this smaller non-profit introduced to the club through Rotary. The goal for the donations is to have a greater impact on the cause, and the club hopes to raise around $4,000 for Sandy.
In addition to dinner, there will also be live music and a silent auction with items donated from local businesses. All are encouraged to attend! Tickets will be sold at the door.
