- Sparking Light Spectacular at the Fairgrounds:
Date: December 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 27th, 28th, and 29th.
Place: Humboldt County Fairgrounds in Ferndale.
Time: 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Price: $5 to drive around or $3 per person to walk.
- Blue Lake Holiday Celebration:
Date: December 7th.
Place: Blue Lake.
Time: Parade at 4 pm, tree lighting at 5 pm, and community dinner at 6 pm.
Price: Dinner is $10 for kids and $15 for adults, buy tickets at City Hall in Blue Lake.
- Rio Dell Tree Lighting and Fire Truck Parade:
Date: December 7th.

Time: 5 pm and tree lighting at 5:30 pm

Date: December 13th.
Place: Main Street in Fortuna.
Time: Parade at 6 pm.

Place: Arkley Center in Eureka.
Time: Fridays start at 7 pm and Saturdays start at 2 pm.

- Winter Arts Faire:
Date: December 13th, 14th, and 15th.
Place: Mateel Community Center in Redway.
Time: 10 am to 6 pm.

- Trucker’s Christmas Parade:
Date: December 14th.
Place: Starts at Redwood Acres, turns right on Harris, right on I Street, right on 7th, right on Myrtle, right on Hubbard, and ends back at Redwood Acres.
Time: Starts at 6 pm.

- Zoo Lights:
Date: December 14th, 15th, 30th, 21st, 22nd, 24th, 27th, 28th, 29th, and 31st, and Januwary 3rd, 4th, and 5th.
Place: Sequoia Park Zoo
Time: 5 pm to 8 pm.
Price: $5 per person but $4 if you have EBT, BIC, WIC, or if you are a zoo member.
- Lighted Tractor Parade Ferndale:
Date: December 15th.
Place: Starts at the top of Main Street and go towards Ferndale High where they will then turn left onto Arlington Ave and then left again onto 5th Street
Time: 5 pm to 8 pm.
Price: Free to attend.
- Candy Cane Lane:
Date: December 21st and 22nd.
Place: Eureka High Auditorium.
Time: The 21st begins at 6 pm and the 22nd begins at 2 pm.
Price: Ticket prices cost between $18.85 and $25.15 per person on their website.
- Arcata Marsh Walk:
Date: December 25th, Christmas Day.
Place: Interpretive Center meeting place
Time: 10am to 11:30am.
