Solana Mendle-Nickle, Art Director
Solana is an artist who enjoys many kinds of creative expression. She has written lots of poetry in the past years and is excited for a new way of writing about what’s literal. At Arcata High School, she has been a part of AAI and created a line in the Flow fashion show. She has been a designer and a model for shows and has always loved fashion. Solana is excited to now be a part of the AHS PepperBox and is glad to integrate her artistic background into journalism. Solana hopes to expand her skills this school year whether that be making a perfect corset, painting something realistic, or writing an informative article, Solana is excited to bring new ideas to the pepperbox and learn more about life at AHS.
