Rex Sobolewski is an Arcata High Senior who is currently the Opinion Section editor for the Pepper Box. He’s always used writing as an outlet, often finding himself scribbling poems on scratch paper and around drawings. In working as a journalist for the Pepper Box he hopes to expand communication and informative writing skills as well as have a place to put his thoughts into the world and help others to express theirs. In formal writing he prefers argumentative and opinion pieces. Outside of school he enjoys the arts, sharing music between friends, long hikes, designing clothes, playing guitar, cooking and exploring.
