Maeve Sanders, El Chisme Section Editor & Production Manager
Maeve is a senior at Arcata High School and a first-year journalist at The Pepperbox. Maeve has long been drawn to the study of literature and its impacts on humanity. Long term, she plans to major in English and hopes for a career as an essayist or an English teacher. She writes primarily about current events, the arts, social issues, and psychology. Maeve grew up in a dual immersion program, speaking English and Spanish. She is thrilled to be able to apply her studies of language to The Pepperbox. She finds purpose within the theatre strand of the Arcata Arts Institute, acting and stage managing in productions. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, climbing, hiking, baking, and spending time with friends and family.
