Jaime is a junior at Arcata High and this year is her third year of reporting for the Pepperbox. She found her love for writing in 4th grade after writing an ode to her elementary school’s mascot, the dragon. Being a part of the Pepperbox at AHS only amplifies her passion for the process of writing. Jaime enjoys writing profiles because the process gives her the chance to understand a person inside and out. Her favorite activities are playing tennis, listening to music, relaxing with her cat Shilo, and river rafting. Some of her favorite music artists include Coldplay, Fleetwood Mac, and Cigarettes After Sex. She is excited about the articles she will write this year and the new people she will meet in the process.
