Bella Campbell, Reporter
Bella Campbell is a senior in high school as well as a student-athlete who is intrigued by the news and wants to further improve her skills in English writing articles. She loves to connect with others and sees Journalism as an opportunity to use her people skills to get people to share their opinions, to write stories about major events, and to get different perspectives. Also, she loves to be humorous, so she feels that she can make a positive impact in the paper that can make people smile.!
Hugh Downey, Executive Producer
Hugh is in his senior year at Arcata High, he likes hanging out with friends. When he’s not at school he enjoys playing with his dog or cats, reading, and playing board games. This is his first year on the Pepperbox as both a reporter and the executive producer for the Rise and Shine broadcast. Hugh’s academic interests include math, science, and engineering. He hopes to improve his writing and leadership skills during his time with the Pepperbox.
