Pepperbox Broadcast

“It’s the first time we’ve ever had a broadcast,” Kloe Bryant said, “so it’s really just testing everything out,”

Rise and Shine Tigers, the new broadcast made by the Pepperbox, is finally here. The broadcast is made to replace the bulletin and will cover all of the new and upcoming events at Arcata High each morning.

The information that would be presented in the bulletin will be sent in advance to the team so they can create their videos on time.

The process has taken the entire first Semester because the Journalism students have had to make new systems and learn how to make a news-like broadcast all from scratch.

“It’s just a learning curve,” broadcast facilitator Ms. Witten said.

The Pepperbox team is working hard to make this project a reality.

“It’s the first time we’ve ever had a broadcast,” Kloe Bryant said, “so it’s really just testing everything out,”

The videos will be posted to YouTube on their new channel called Rise and Shine Tigers.

Bryant says that there is going to be a scannable QR code in the newspapers that brings you to the channel. You can also find the broadcast in the “Rise and Shine Pepperbox” tab under “About AHS” on the AHS website.
